I, Cear Dragon, do deeply apologize to the citizens of Britannia.

Moving across the city and encountering endless technical difficulties has
caused moongates to Britannia from your PC to become inactive for quite some time.
Therefore I have taken it upon myself to speak with Lord British, Geoffrey, and Sir Dupre
directly for a way to repay you all.

With tensions on the rise between human and gargoyle, Britannia needs its strongest, and most clever, on the battlegrounds. Designed by Captain of the Guard Geoffrey, approved by Sir Dupre, and Funded by thy King, Lord British, we of Ultima VI Online present to you, The Buccaneers Den Gauntlet!

The Buccaneers Den Gauntlet Is an exciting new addition to Ultima VI Online
The Riches are mild, but the Challenge is there. I dare anyone to trek this labyrinth of pain with out a tremor or kill staff!

The best part of the gauntlets it that It will not be removed from play. It will open up to five times a year. Each time I open the gauntlet the monster arrangement, traps, and loot will always be different.

Earthquakes that rival the cataclysm have struck Britannia world wide for three days! After the ocean waters settled down citizens are reporting wealth and death on all shores! While Lord British’s Navy has yes to find the source of these washings on the beaches, Rumor has it that trade vessels traveling from Britain and Trinsic in route to Hythloth to speak with the gargoyles are vanishing, and all attempts to find them are meeting without success.

Britannia Could Use Your Help, Avatar

The time has come for the website to be paid for again for another year of hosting. This site consumes a considerable amount of bandwidth even though the Ultima Six Online Wiki has moved off site. In my current situation I again simply cannot afford to pay for another years hosting and domain registration. Should any Britannians feel the need to show compassion for the cause, please use the Donate button below to donate any amount of currency you desire to help for this cost. The website will shut down on November 6th. Should no donations come in, the game server will still remain standing and maintained. Events will continue as soon as I’m out of the hospital on November 10th. The game will continue to be updated as well. The only thing lost will be the website and all things associated with that web-page until the day arrives that I can afford to renew it myself, assuming no one snatches up the domain. Should anyone donate, you have my thanks, and the thanks of all of Ultima Six Online’s players and enthusiasts.

Mad Mages Strike Again!

The mad mage Penumbra’s experiments with cell division have gone as awry!
Little is know what cause the cell division to get out of hand, but what is known is that most of middle
Moonglow is covered in slime!
With the towns mages trapped in their homes with walls of slime, Lord British is calling on the Royal
Britannian Guard to assist!

With most of the land’s able warriors sailing to Moonglow to assist, the Dragons of Destard have yet again begun making their way to the walls of Trinsic! Is Britannia doomed? Will there be enough brave and able warriors skilled enough to take on this dividing threat?

We will find out tonight, June third, at 9:30 PM EST when this event kicks off!

Recently a player in Ultima VI Online by the name of Kendram Bensen was invited into a players home, and was allowed access to his unlocked storage room.

He wasted no time taking all he could carry, without permission.

While this is not virtuous in any way, picking up items is not against the rules of Ultima VI Online. Ultima VI Online is a persistent free willed world of good and evil.
Had this player been hacking the game in anyway he would be banned and all other actions that could be taken against him/her would have been.

The point of this message is be careful when helping new players or old player. Be smart. Players can wait outside while you go in your home.

On a final note please know that it is literally impossible, for me to in any way shape or form, replace lost items or create weapons/armor of any power/toughness.

Boat Carrying The Mad Mages Experiments Hits The Bay Of Britanny!

Tholden and Lord British agree that a pirate ship carrying stow away pets from Sutek’s island had crash landed in the Bay of Britanny. Guards say this morning the boat crashed in to shore near the Inn. Upon inspection, all crew were found dead and dismembered. Strange sounds were heard below deck for hours until a raging bull rocked a hole in the boats hull. Since this time Vicious Cows, Alligators, and Hydra from Sutek’s Mansion as sea have spread inland. Lord British orders all women and children to return home at once! And all able fighters, Guardians, and members of the royal Britannian Guard do what they can to rid the town of this vile corruption of nature. Until then investigators will be looking in to this unusual shipment’s origins and purpose.

Save your user login and trash that old client, the following changes have come to Ultima VI Online:

To adjust to U6O’s growing population monster respawn rates have been increased
Global chat messages may now be sent every 10 seconds
Most of Britannia’s shopkeepers will now respond to the “Bulk” command, allowing you to sell all items in all party members packs at once
The chance to fail casting a spell has been reduced for many high level spells
Spell books now have a chance to be found on gargoyle corpses
The chance to discover a treasure map on defeated monsters has been slightly increased
Anti Virtue dungeons have been revamped with unique loot for you to discover (if you can cross the lava)
Swamp boots now have a change to spawn with enhanced defensive properties( like all + items)
Various world changes to prevent characters being stuck on islands if someone logs out after taking a public raft for a ride (IE: Skara/Hornace)
The games client will no longer hang at “Mouse Cursors Loaded”

Coming soon: A night time shopkeeper that will buy items for slashed prices and sell for inflated prices while other vendors are sleeping
hit shop is currently in Britain above Max’s shop

The Ultima VI Team is also proud to announce weekly events!
The pipeline for weekly live events first went into testing 2 months ago with
a gargoyle invasion in Britain. The event was a huge success and the Live Event
cycle is now a permanent addition to Ultima VI Online. You may view the event below:

With the release of this publish the new year event cycle is still under way featuring the rise of the worlds fallen pirates.
The undead now swarm wrecked ships off the coast of Trinsic and its barrier island. Beware, you must travel there on ship, and they do not take kindly to mages…
