Hi, who is still actively playing U6O now?
I was one of active player until several weeks ago. However I don't play it now.
I made a new character and raised LV to 3 and changed my portrait.
But it was returned to a default portrait I chose at starting game, when I logged in again after about an hour passed.
This problem happened twice. I lost 2000EXP and motivation. :'(
I would be if I could log in.

Yes, you can play single player or with friends. please note, you will need to take turns with NPCs needed for quests like sherry the mouse.
I'm still playing. Getting along quite nicely.
I'm fairly active, and happy to note that I have a party of 5 Archers (Dex 46+), 1 Halberdier,
1 Macer (47 Str), and a Mage (48 Int), all at Level 8.
I get on once in a bit. Just started this thing and am trying to figure it out. Maybe at some point i will play with others. In between all these down servers. But it is relaxing to see that i can get on this server and be in this world
I plan to get back into this game, even if I end up playing entirely solo. I was one of the really early players (Bob Star) when the community had like 30 or so active players and the game hadn't been finished. It was one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've ever had. Raiding the tombs with a group was definitely a highlight.
I don't know how active I will be, but I'm hoping to beat the game again. I beat it twice in the early days of U6O, but my memory is fuzzy on some parts... plus some new dungeons have been added. Should be a lot of fun. I encourage anyone to play Ultima 6 this way, even if it's solo. Bugs have been fixed, there's more content and you might have some others jump in and help out. Remember to use your buckets effectively people!

Urbat, I just started a new character. I had several accounts that were really developed, but I've never been able to recover them.
I just downloaded this to play through again.

Hey I've always been thinking about trying this out again! I was an old player named Galad, I was acutally wondering if old people still got to keep there old account? I totally forget my account name and password of course..tbh I hope they all just got wiped LOL! so i can start over fresh and not have to worry and wonder if my character (and others) are still around.
EDIT: So i just tried to login creating a new character and it seems old characters ARE still around lol. Anyway I could try to prove that its me and get my old character back? names Galad. tbh I think they should have been wiped and started over. Im sure that will piss off a few people from the past but at this point. It just feels unfair considering I know some people have A LOOOOOOOOOOT of stuff..like to the point of no competition for new characters. Mainly perfect stats for more going towards mage type characters considering I know the +'s on armor is so rare and some have gotten ridiculous random drops by now. Mainly speaking of leather armor with high +'s so you can go more INT..not sure if things have changed but I also remember some farmed daily to get the BEST NPC's with the best stats..which I always found annoying and unfair a bit..oh well just giving my 2 cents on things I remember. It could be totally different by now for all I know :/

If you're XxGaladXx, and you were around during the days that Kaldosh hosted the server, all those old character saves are long gone. That server was shutdown in the fall of 2009.
Crimson Shirt here. Been awhile since I played my Mage. Also awhile, since I played Tom Brass. Currently working on my STR Avatar Kaisenne Goethal. As soon as servers back up, I will be there.
I am active, as are a couple other people. :)
I log on from time to time. Server seems to be offline right now, though.
