Found my first map in a while, dug up the chest and the server crashed just about the same time.  (If it was me, sorry!  Totally not intentional). 

If it was dug up, does a treasure chest behave like an item that will gradually disappear after discovery or does it have permanence in-game?

Update: in game just now, non-responsive fighting the rogues north of Britain.  Clouds kept moving, battle stopped, unable to do anything.  Character: BONZOMADRID

Noticed that -- first time back in game for a while, and I thought I was botching the DNS on my end.  Changed to server.thezogcabal.com:22 and it was hit or miss between last night and today.  (I was hopping old character to old character to remember just who and what I had).  Mostly down for me, trouble connecting.  No drops or craziness when I was in game.
