Hello everyone im in a really tough spot.  After playing last night, when I went to start up the game today, i found that anytime i would press Journey Onward, the game would stall on the start menu.  some of they key commands like talk and quit will still work and i would see one or two of the display UI tiles on the screen, but the page is still the main U6O screen and the menu music still plays!  I tried creating a new character but it would not advance past the first screen to the Gypsy woman part.  I seem to be stuck in the menu area and cant get into the game at all!  Can anyone advise me?

I get on once in a bit.  Just started this thing and am trying to figure it out.  Maybe at some point i will play with others.  In between all these down servers.  But it is relaxing to see that i can get on this server and be in this world

Lol!  Im still figuring out how to find more torches and talking to people.

ive tried combat a tiny bit but its sporadic.  Looking for my old favorite NPC Janna.  Shes always essential to my party after my days long ago with Ultima 5.

im sorry to see that i cant come up with a custom character portrait.  and that i cant use my avatar cause its 'not human' as the rules say.  I mean i understand the desire to keep with the games spirit and all and i want to play like that.  But ive always used my squirrel identity for myself.

lol there were a number of animal chars you could talk to in Ultima as i recal like Sherry and Smith.

Hello, just was starting to learn the game, was working about 8 hours ago.  But when i tried to start the program today, locks up and says server is down. 
So im assuming that its down now for everyone?

I hope soon, there was a post about it. The host computer suffered some damage last month. I also want to remind everybody that if your name begins with the letters "No", you can not get the rune of humility. This is because when antonio asks your name he thinks you are saying the word "no" when you say your name. Anyway, its good to see a new member. Welcome, Jon!

I have not played this game since i was a teen.  IDK how it has been adapted to online play.  Can you tell me some points about what is new and what you guys tend to do in online play?

Hello.  I am Jon Long.  I want to get on board with playing U6O.
This was one of my most fav games when i was young and i havent played it since then.  Never would have imagined there was an online version.

I have downloaded the client and unzipped it. but when i try and open it it appears that the servers are offline.  looks like that may be the case here.  Does anyone know when it may be reinstalled?  Im interested in participating in U60!
